Along US101 just south of Santa Barbara you will find US1, and this is the place to park if you got an RV! So many large and small RVs had parked here, just on the beautiful coastline with a glorious sunset!

Do you remember my photos from the Ferris wheel? Well here is one from another perspective. Breathtaking as I tihink. You can see the wheel as well as the funpark on the right and on the left.
Moreover on the left there is this Hotel which looks like the Burj Al Arab crazy, isn’t it?

This girl majored in Psychology at the same university I got my degree so we are fellow alumni, and I hope she makes it big as a model someday because I think she has the looks and talent to succeed. She has a nice face and beauty in this shot.
I really like the capture of the beautiful legs of this sexy model in this portrait. Of course the gorgeous body and face and expression and the white shirt and skirt and skin color in contrast to the cement and outdoors in the park and the ground are also things I like about this picture. I like her black high heel as well and her blue eyes and long brunette hair.
This Red-Whiskered Bulbul was the boldest I met on my trip.
Other Bulbuls used to fly away the moment I got them into focus. This one stayed put while my camera shot a thousand pictures on continuous mode. I wanted a shot of her taking off and flying away, but this one didn't!
However, she gave me this expansive demonstration of her wings and beauty.

I have been waiting to photograph this site for a while but wanted to wait for that right moment and today was that right moment.
Not sure what you would call this type of small mill but it's used for lifting gravel from the bed of the lake.There are a number of them dotted around but this one stands out from all the rest becuase you can photograph it off the end of a platform with nothing obstructing your line of sight.
With the sun setting directly behind me it cast an amazing blanket of pink light just where I wanted it, the recent snow fall added more detail to the right of the frame and really added to the picture. I think this is one of my better photo's to date and I'm very happy with how it turned out.
30 second exposure to really smooth out the water and suck in that light...
I needed the reach so my Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM fitted with cokin filters did the trick..

Designed to bring light to social and humanitarian issues by combining images of celebrities and fashion with images of conflict, crisis and disaster, this "negative sandwich" features Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straights and now commonly regarded as one of the greatest guitar players of all time) fused with an image of a dried and cracked mud hut in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. Kenya has been suffering from a severe famine for a number of years due primarily to drought. Kenya is also home to refugees from unstable areas around the region, many of whom end up in camps and not only suffer from the drought but put strain on the already limited resources. More about the famine in Kenya here.

There are different entrances built within Queen Hatshepsut Temple in Luxor, Egypt and this is one example of an entrace which has these incredible painted hieroglyphics.
